Applications Support Engineer Trainee

Overall purpose:

As an Applications Support Engineer Trainee in our Technological Delivery team, you will be challenged with a wide range of tasks including deployment and maintenance of our solutions. You will be responsible for pre and post go-live support, maintaining and testing of various BSK products and other applications.

Position Requirements:

· BSc. in Computer Science, Engineering Physics or similar degree.

· Basic knowledge in deploying Java solutions preferably SpringBoot and/or Kotlin.

· Basic knowledge in relational databases preferably Postgres and/or Oracle.

· Familiar with agile methodology.

· Exposure in shell scripting will be a plus.

· Basic knowledge of code versioning tools eg. Git.

· Must demonstrate willingness to learn fast.

· Must have good documentation practices and skills.

· Basic knowledge in Linux operating system
